Dr. William J. Tighe hails originally from Lowell, Massachusetts. After studies at Yale University in Connecticut and Cambridge University in England, he returned to the U.S. and since 1986 has taught at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where he is an associate professor of history. His field of research specialization is the political, religious and social history of Tudor and Stuart Britain (c. 1460 to c. 1715). Dr. Tighe is also a contributing editor of Touchstone Magazine: A Journal of Mere Christianity, in which he has published numerous articles. He has also published articles in The New Oxford Review. Together with his wife and three children, he is a member of St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. |
